The South African Stormers, the defending champions, will face Munster for the trophy. Munster is the only side to defeat the Stormers at home in the URC, defeating them 26-24 in the group stages last month.
After the lock, Leinster led 10-6 at halftime. After a barnstorming run by Jason Jenkins, Munster scored its first try, but after the half, another second row, Tadhg Beirne, polished off some concerted pressure.
The visitors defied expectations by controlling possession and making multiple forays into the Leinster 22, but they were undone by some shoddy play.
When Leinster Lock opened, it seemed as though they would be held accountable. Just after the hour mark, Joe McCarthy scored a try, but Munster stayed encamped in their opponent's half and worked a drop-goal position for Crowley, who struck a stunning goal to win the game.

Leinster will need to quickly move past their loss as they play La Rochelle in the European Rugby Champions Cup final at their Dublin home on May 20. Munster will be going for their fourth URC trophy and first since 2010–11.
Connacht Flyhalf lost to the champion Stormers. The defending champion Stormers defeated Irish team Connacht 43-25 on Saturday to advance to their second straight United Rugby Championship final, thanks in large part to two tries from Manie Libbok.

In front of 47,000 boisterous home supporters, the Cape Town-based Stormers scored six tries in all as wings Angelo Davids, replacement scrumhalf Paul De Wet, loose forward Marcel Theunissen, and center Ruhan Nel all broke through the Connacht defense.
With tries from wing Mack Hansen, loose forwards Conor Oliver and Shamus Hurley-Langton, and replacement back Byron Ralston, Connacht overcame a 20-8 deficit to close the gap on the Stormers heading into the final 15 minutes. However, they were unable to fully capitalize on the numerous handling and set-piece mistakes made by their hosts.
